چکیده
A field experiment entitled “Evaluation of Cherry tomato genotypes for yield and quality in polyhouse Prayagraj agro-climatic condition [Solanum Lycopersicum (L.) var. cerasiforme Mill.]” was conducted from Sept, 2022 to March, 2023 at Horticulture Research Farm, Department Horticulture, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture, Technology Sciences, Prayagraj. The laid out Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. investigation carried find the best cultivar amongst (Yellow Tomato-round shape, Red-round Nagmoti, Red-plum Yellow Tomato-Pear shape Pusa Cherry-1) .In all cultivars -1 found overall growth, economic parameters like days 1st flowering, no. flower per cluster, fruit fruits plant, total yield, high cost benefit ratio.
Among varieties highest cherry-1 (142.9q/ha) whereas lowest pear cherry (74.6q/ha). gross return (283883 Rs/ha) ratio (2.133) were obtained Cherry-1. Considering experimental findings variety be most suitable higher productivity under conditions.

Effect of Organic Fertilizer and Irrigation Intervals on the Yield and Quality of Cherry Tomato (Solanum lycopersicon var. cerasiforme)
To investigate the effects of organic fertilizers and irrigation frequencies on yield and quality of cherry tomato an experiment was conducted using six fertilizer doses including control (no fertilizer), NPK fertilizer (urea at 300 kg, TSP 200 kg and MoP 250 kg), cow-dung at 5 t ha-1, cow-dung at 10 t ha-1, poultry manure at 5 t ha-1 and poultry manure at 10 t ha-1 with two levels of irrigatio...
متن کاملGenome-Wide Association Mapping in Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) Is Possible Using Genome Admixture of Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme
Genome-wide association mapping is an efficient way to identify quantitative trait loci controlling the variation of phenotypes, but the approach suffers severe limitations when one is studying inbred crops like cultivated tomato (Solanum lycopersicum). Such crops exhibit low rates of molecular polymorphism and high linkage disequilibrium, which reduces mapping resolution. The cherry type tomat...

Softening, which accompanies ripening fruits is also to a large extent, responsible for the damage that occurs during handling and shipping. The effects of 1-Methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) application at different ripening stages (mature green, breaker, breaker + 2 days and breaker + 4 days) on cellulase and pectinase activities of cherry tomato fruit (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill. var. cerasiforme...
متن کاملRoot-synthesized cytokinins improve shoot growth and fruit yield in salinized tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) plants
Salinity limits crop productivity, in part by decreasing shoot concentrations of the growth-promoting and senescence-delaying hormones cytokinins. Since constitutive cytokinin overproduction may have pleiotropic effects on plant development, two approaches assessed whether specific root-localized transgenic IPT (a key enzyme for cytokinin biosynthesis) gene expression could substantially improv...
متن کاملAssessment of genetic variation in Bulgarian tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) genotypes, using fluorescent SSR genotyping platform
Genetic variability in modern crops is limited due to domestication and selection processes. Genetic variation in eight Bulgarian tomato varieties and breeding lines (variety Plovdivska karotina, variety IZK Alya, L21β, L53β, L1140, L1116, L975, L984) differing in their morphological and biochemical composition was assessed using a highly efficient and low-cost fluorescent simple sequence repea...
